Pet's info: Dog | Greyhound | Male | neutered | 75 lbs
I have a 11 year old Greyhound who was limping. I brought him to my vet he said the X-ray shows a muscle strain. He prescribed Pervicox. He improved after the medication. The other day he ran after a squirrel and it appears he pulled his shoulder muscle. You can feel his bone in his shoulder. Is there anything that can be done or does it heal on its own? I don’t want to take a shoulder X-ray since he would have to be put under anesthesia. He’s taking Perivox for pain.
