Is my dog pregnant? She was bred 54 days ago and has symptoms.

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 8 months old

my dog was breaded 54 days ago we do not know whether she is pregnant or not she has put loads of weight on and her teats are big and droopy and she is moody and tired which is a change can u help me?

It does sound like your Minnie is indeed pregnant. If she is 54 days pregnant today she will likely have her puppies within the next 10 or 11 days. Bitches gain weight from approximately the 40 th day on as the puppies grow. The mammary glandas also start developing and getting ready for lactation.
Being moody and tired would also be normal.

    Hi and thanks for posting!

    Minnie may very well be pregnant. In order to confirm this, she will need an exam and x-ray from her veterinarian to confirm the presence of pups and give you an estimate of how many pups will be in the litter.
