Is it normal for my dog to poop once a day on Royal Canin GI diet?

For example, it may be that she is eating a diet that is high in protein and low in fiber for instance. This could be easily fixed by feeding her a diet that is higher in fiber. If Romeo has had recent excessive stool production, it may be normal to have less for a day or two. It's fine for a dog to go a day without pooping, especially with that history. If he begins to strain unproductively, become painful, uninterested in food, or vomiting, contact your veterinarian.

As long as Romeo is eating well, not vomiting and his energy level is high, there is nothing to worry about. Trazadone can produce gastrointestinal symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, increased appetite but it is not known to cause less frequent defecation or constipation in dogs.
