My dog has a pink tail bump and a rib cage lump. What is it?

A white bump on the skin can be a variety of things, including a cyst, blocked skin pore, wart, or another underlying issue. The bump on his stomach I can't distinguish in the picture. I do, however, recommend all abnormal growths be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine if they are benign (non-cancerous) or not. Typically a needle sample can determine this, and if any further treatment may be needed. Good luck!

I recommend to have Leia examined by the veterinarian. Skin masses can be many things but red raised masses are especially concerning for a skin cancer called a Mast Cell tumor. Your veterinarian will need to collect a sample of cell to examine under the microscope to determine what this is and if further treatment is needed. Have this checked out soon.

It does appear that he has developed a growth on his back leg, and I do recommend all abnormal growths be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine if they are benign (non-cancerous) or not. While it could be a cyst, insect bite, or wart, there are certain types of skin cancer (such as mast cell tumors) that can look similar to what you are seeing. I would recommend Marvin see his regular veterinarian and have a needle aspirate to help determine what the growth might be, and determine any further treatment that may be needed. Good luck!

Hello. This could just be a cyst or small tumor such as a histiocytoma. At this point, it does not look worrisome, so just monitor for any changes in size &/or shape. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would have Alfie seen by a vet tomorrow to have this lump examined and diagnosed so it can be treated as needed.

With his age I would suspect it is likely benign and possibly an insect bite or what we call a histiocytoma (which occur commonly in younger dogs).
