My dog has two spots on his stomach that almost look like pimples. What could they be?

Dog skin pimples have multiple possible causes including parasites (fleas, mites), infection, fungus, allergy and skin tumors. I recommend taking your dog into your vet to have them examine these pimples, determine what is causing them, and prescribing the correct treatment for them.

These bumps could be related to several issues, but the most common are fleas, or bacterial skin infection. Some dogs are actually allergic to fleas and will have irritated, red scabs where they have been bitten.
This could also be a localized staph infection which is also quite common. I would have a vet look to determine the cause and course of treatment.

Those look like pustles, or small spots of infection. If these are the only pustules you see on your dog then you can try to get rid of them by gently cleaning them with dilute hydrogen peroxide and putting some antibiotic ointment on them.
If these are widespread throughout the skin and your dog is itchy or bothered by them, then I would recommend you take him in to the vet to be checked out. He will likely need some oral antibiotics to help clear them up.
If the pustles come back or get worse then we will need to figure out what the underlying problem is that is causing the breakouts. The most common cause is allergies but there are other causes as well.
I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck!

It's more likely to be allergy related rather than fleas, as long as it's only two small pimples that are getting better I would not be too worried about this. If those pimples start appearing elsewhere and in numbers I would then advise to have it checked by your vet.
