Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 27 lbs
A friend told me about something that happened at their work. A dog humped another dog and his penis along with testicles,(or more realistically the knot, I think) came out of sheath. Bosses immediately ran dog inside to have his bits put back in. Everyone was very upset and it was said this was a serious medical issue that the dog could die from or have serious health problems. Is this true that it could result in serious problems or death? Thanks

YEs, this can happen especially if the opening in the prepuce is very small. I would recommend neutering him unless you specifically want to breed from him in the near future as there is a risk of permanent, irreversible damage should the penis become stuck out for an extended length of time
