It could actually be spay incontinence. Lack of estrogen may cause the urethral sphincter (a muscle used to control the exit of urine) to relax and release urine involuntarily. This can be treated with medication. I'd have Coco seen by a vet for this issue.

If you haven't already, having a sample of Coco's urine tested by your vet is a good first step. Urinary tract problems such as infections, lower urinary tract disease and interstitial cystitis may cause a cat to start having accidents in the house. If there are other pets or people in your house, Coco may also be a little bit stressed out, which can lead to this behavior. Making sure she has access to food, water, litter and bedding without competition from or harassment by others in the house can help. If you recently changed the litter type, this can also cause accidents, so returning back to the old litter or switching over a more gradual period may also reduce accidents.

Urinary incontinence is a common problem in older spayed female dogs. Your veterinarian can prescribe medication to control this. I’m glad you’ve checked her urine and since it was negative then starting her on medication for incontinence is the next step. I usually start with Proin, and they can add another medication if that isn’t effective. These are prescription medications so you’ll need to talk with your veterinarian about trying one. She may have a urinary infection that causes her to have accidents due to not being able to hold it as Kong. She may be doing this out of stress or anxiety or something has changed in her environment or routine. Depending on where she is in her heat cycle it may be due to marking and territorial problems influenced by hormones The best place to start is gave your vet check for infection with the urine then look in to getting her fixed. From there you can look into repeating house training or behavioral medicines

There could be a medical reason as to why Chevy is suddenly urinating in the home. This could be caused by a UTI or bladder stones. I would give your vet a call today to set up an appointment for her to be seen by her vet. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, and a urinalysis to diagnose if she does have a medical cause behind her urinating in the home, and can prescribe a treatment for it. There are a multitude of issues that can cause urinary accidents, including urinary tract infection, bladder stones, kidney disease, diabetes, and more.
