I own a dog.Two weeks ago his paw started swelling, became worse in a day and he could barely walk.Same day in the evening I found a broken glass(cca 1cm)between his digital and metacarpal pads.Vet gave him antibiotics day after and said it would get better within a week. After 3-4 days I noticed a forming fistula between his "fingers" on the dorsal side of the paw.It became big and bursted, vet cleaned the wound and the fistula is gone, but his paw keeps swelling,it doesn't hurt. What should i do?

It sounds like his foot is infected. If there is not significant improvement after a few days of antibiotics, you should call your vet and give him/her an update. Your vet may want to culture the discharge and/or a biopsy to determine the exact cause and best way to treat. He may need a different antibiotic or other medications depending on the cause. You can also soak the paw in a warm Epsom salt solution and see if that helps.
