My dog has paraphimosis and i already got him to the vet. Because the scars reopened (he was bitten there) it caused swelling and can't be placed back. What he said was "give the swelling a few days to go down and then you can place it back. Its been 3 days and while the swelling has diminished its still inretractable and it looks worse and hurt. I go to the vet again and insist on the same thing even when i ask him to operate the poor dog. What should i do if he is the only vet available?

Put some vaseline or moisturising ointment on the penis so it does not dry out. Keep Golondrino from licking his penis as he may hurt it by excessive licking. In order for a paraphimosis to cause necrosis it would need to be so tight that it cuts off blood flow. This is unlikely to happen.
