Why is my dog not eating, depressed, with pale gums & milky breath?

If she has pale gums then she needs to be examined by a vet immediately to determine the cause and treat, especially if she also has abnormal breathing. Please call your vet or go to an emergency clinic. She could have an infection, parasite, clotting/bleeding problem, hemolytic anemia, mass, etc. and may need immediate treatment.

Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. This could absolutely be due to anemia given her pale mucous membranes. I recommend that you have Snow evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Hi. The pale gums and weight loss are very serious signs! I don't know the age, or sex, or history, so it's a bit hard to review the most likely possibilities. But with pale gums and weight loss, 8d be concerned about internal bleeding, cancer, immune mediated disease, parasites, k8dney disease, and many more. An exam, lab work, and x-rays will be needed to get down to the the potential cause. I would recommend getting him seen right away.

With a Doberman, I would first want to rule-out heart disease. Dobermans are predisposed to having a heart condition that can cause heart failure, which would present like this. However, the fact that she is a cross makes hereditary heart disease less likely. There are many other conditions that can cause these exact same problems such as intracellular parasites/bacteria, intestinal parasites and blood clotting disorders leading to anemia. Either way, the fact that she is pale and lethargic warrants an urgent visit to the veterinarian. The vet will be able to help narrow-down the cause of this and advise the best treatment. You should take Bum-Bucha to an out of hours vet emergency service in your area of living as these symptoms sounds very severe, it could be poisoning or internal bleeding, if you wait to the morning to take him to the vet it might be too late, he needs medical attention urgently.

I hate to hear that about Kiwee. He is very sick and needs to see a veterinarian. The pale gums are very concerning for internal bleeding, very low blood pressure or a bone marrow suppression. All of these are serious and require immediate care that only a veterinarian at a clinic will be able to treat. I’m sorry to hear Crispy isn’t doing well. I would highly encourage blood work if that hasn’t been done. The white gums and fever concern me about infections that can cause anemia, like ehrlichia.
