My dog had a biopsy two days ago and had a growth removed, she has 2 sutures and I was told by the veterinarian that she can only be allowed to walk outside to relieve herself and that she must be on a leash when so. Problem is, my dog associates leash with going outside for a walk and therefore refuses to relieve herself on the property. When she does need to relieve herself, she will go in the back yard if unleashed. Will her not being in a leash be a problem for the sutures/incision site?
