My dog won't eat but is drinking water. What should I do now?

It sounds like Charlie is nauseous. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If this is unsuccessful or if your dog is lethargic, vomiting, or having diarrhea, a visit to the veterinarian is in order. The veterinarian will be able to perform a physical exam as well as any necessary diagnostic tests to try to get to the bottom of this issue so that proper treatment can be started.

These are very unspecific signs of being unwell. You can observe her for a while, fast her for 24 hours and then offer her some boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken. If she has a tummy ache this should clear that up. If you suspect that she is in pain somewhere else of if she is deteriorating and or getting lethargic, you need to take her to a veterinarian for an exam.

Poor Charlie sounds like he is ill! Anorexia is a very general sign of illness and it can be caused by dental problems, systemic illness, kidney disease, liver disease, heart failure, infection, inflammation, injury, or even cancer. When a dog feels poorly, there are often behavioral changes and that may be why he doesn't care when you lift him. I would have him seen by a vet as soon as possible.
