My dog has bumps on his nose. Are they mosquito bites or serious?

A couple of things come to mind as possibilities. This could be an acute hypersensitivity reaction to something - bug bite/sting, perhaps - or possibility a severe bacterial infection called furunculosis. There are also some immune-mediated/auto-immune diseases that attack the top of the nose. See your vet about this. An appropriate treatment plan might be to start antibiotics and if no improvement after 2 weeks consider a biopsy to obtain a definitive diagnosis.

Bumps like this are usually a hypersensitivity response to an allergen. Also it could be bug bites that are having a localized reaction. I would recommend monitoring these areas to see if they continue to grow in size or cause pain/irritation. If they do start causing irritation for Snow, then you can place a cold compress on the area for 5 mins tonight and then get Snow seen by your vet tomorrow for further care, if it is still bothersome for Snow. You may be describing hives. They just look like small patches of fur that stick up a little more than other areas, and the length of pitbull fur makes them very prominent! If you haven't bathed her since rolling in the grass, I would recommend doing that to wash off any allergens that she may have come in contact with. If they don't get better in a few hours, or if she starts coughing, acting lethargic, or has facial swelling, then she should be seen by a vet for injections of antihistamines and steroids to help with the reaction. Also note that the wet or dry of a dog's nose just depends on their current environment and the time since the last licked it. Same thing for cold or warm! I have never included the nose temperature in my physical exam. ;)

I am sorry to hear about Asher! This could have been a small bug bite or wound. If it is not painful you can try washing the area with a mild soap or antiseptic such as hibiclens (available at most drug stores) and apply a topical antibiotic such as Neosporin to the area twice daily. If the area increases in size, becomes painful or starts having a discharge, or more spots arise then a veterinary exam would be recommended.

Look at that cute nose! IT is really hard to tell by the picture if Mia has small pustules (skin infection) or if they are actual masses/bumps. The small pustules could be from a primary allergy. A contact allergy could cause irritation to the nose and lead to the pustules. IF they are growth I would recommend a vet complete a fine needle aspirate. This is when a vet places a small needle into the mass and looks at the cells under a microscope. This will allow the vet to determine what the growths are being caused by. I would recommend taking Mia to a vet due to her young age and having a hard time telling what is going on based on the pictures. Hope she feels better

Oh dear, poor Tomo! Both the bump on his nose and the red bumps around his mouth look most consistent with hives. Hives occur most commonly as a result of an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, we often are unable to determine the precise cause of these reactions, but they can occur due to insect bites or contact allergies with different grasses, leaves, chemicals, among many others. Most allergic reactions can be managed with antihistamines, such as Benadryl (here is some more information: https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/ ), but some more severe reactions also require corticosteroids, such as prednisone. I strongly recommend discussing medication options with Tomo's vet or even taking him in for an exam to assure that there are not other more serious issues present. This looks like a mild skin infection or irritation from an insect bite or injury. You can wash it with antibacterial soap, rinse it well and then apply a thin film of antibacterial ointment on it. As long as there are no other spots this should heal fine. The overlying skin may come off and then the pinker skin may be showing until the fur grows back in which could take a month or so.
