My dog has some wounds and I just want make sure it wasn't anything serious. Her and a golden retriever yelled at each other over a ball the other day but I didn't think the golden actually grabbed her but maybe she did? There are two smaller marks higher on her neck that are hard to photograph. They don't seem to bother her but just wanted to get a professional opinion.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may indeed be an open wound. It is difficult to see it well but it is likely going to heal on its own not requiring sutures. However, bite wounds can get easily infected and it is always a good idea to start them on oral antibiotics. I recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check this more closely and determine what would be best and prescribe medications. I wish her all the best!
