This most likely is Papillomavirus and is a virus that basically needs to run its course. It may get worse before getting better. If it interferes with Tyson's eating then I would discuss this with your veterinarian since we can crush some of the papillomas if needed but it is recommended to leave them be. These look like juvenile warts (oral papilloma). Such warts are caused by a virus, they are self-limiting and and will go away by themselves eventually within a few months. They will need veterinary attention if they increase significantly in size or amount or start bleeding, get infected, or cause other problems.

The virus can be passed down from mom to offspring and the vaccine has been used to treat severe cases but does not produce immunity. The vaccine is usually considered in severe cases only where the dog may be unable to breathe. Therefore the only prevention is not to breed affected pets. Based on Dolly's age, this is likely what we call a viral papilloma caused by the papilloma virus. These regress on their own (typically within 1-5 months). These are contagious to other dogs so trying to limit exposure to other dogs is definitely something to consider. If a papilloma does not regress on its own or it becomes larger, there are various treatments that can be used such as oral Azithromycin (has been shown to reduce size or resolve papillomas within 10 days in some cases), freezing of the papillomas and surgical removal. For now, I would keep an eye on this and see if it regresses on its own. If at any time it increases in size or does not resolve, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Dolly so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. Those look like growths or warts from a viral infection. Your vet can take a sample of one and see if there is a secondary infection associated with it. Sometimes the virus can pass on its own. All you can do is make sure she is eating still and softens hr food if needed

While odds are good that Monty's lesion is likely a viral papilloma, the only definitive way to determine what's causing the lesion is through removal and biopsy. Viral papillomas are most common in young dogs (like Monty), as well as those that are immunosuppressed. While viral papillomas are contagious between dogs, in young dogs they typically resolve without treatment. That said, some do dramatically worsen or become infected, which is a bit more complicated to manage. Topical treatment won't do any good, particularly for any lesion in the mouth. It would be best to have this lesion evaluated by your vet, who may recommend diagnostic testing to confirm their diagnosis. With that said, it's also not wrong to continue monitoring it to see if more lesions develop or if this one changes at all before pursuing further investigation.
