My puppy is on medication. What blood and stool tests are needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 3 days old | 5 lbs

Dr Hinson , dosage is 2 ml , 12 hourly. Also please tell me whether we should check stools and blood. If so what reports. Thanks

Please, if you have multiple questions for one vet it is best to do a private consult with that vet. I don't always see these follow ups and since the question is not linked to your previous question I don't have all the previous information. I have probably answered 50 more questions since yours so I don't remember all the specifics of what you said previously. If you are unsure of the dosing your vet prescribed please call them and ask. It sounds like a high dose for a 5 pound puppy to me but they may have their reasons for dosing that way. Checking a stool sample for parasites and having blood testing done is always a good idea. I would start with routine blood testing (chemistry and CBC).
