My Boxer has growths on her lip after a recent dental. What are they?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 9 years old

Our boxer had her teeth cleaned a week ago. Noticed today she has little growths on each side of her lower lip area. Can you tell me what this is?

Hi, this is a benign growth. Dogs can have quite a few in their mouth, Boxers in particular. I am sure your vet checked them all over when he did the dental on Ziva but if you want to doublecheck for your reassurance, give them a call once they are open. Hope this helps
