Why is my dog limping, not using her leg, and losing balance?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 25 lbs

My dog started limping 2 days ago and she now won't put any weight on he leg and she now has a loss of balance.

The two problems may be related or not. If they are, the underlying injury (soft tissue or bone tissue damage) is probably so severe to cause the loss of balance; in the the other case the loss of balance could be related to a dysfunction of the vestibular system (that part of the nervous system in charge of the balance). In both cases Sadie would require a physical examination to confirm these clinical suspicion and appropriate treatment. Radiographs may be needed.

    If the condition has been going on for a week now and it is getting worse every day, you must take Lola to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked. she will need to have a full physical exam and probably a radiograph as well in order to find out what is causing this severe limping.
