My dog is lethargic, salivating, won't drink. Vet emergency?

Drooling can be a sign of nausea and this with a decreased activity level can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Rufus evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam. It sounds like your dog is sick. The drooling can be due to nausea, and the lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea could be due to a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I would take your dog into a vet right away for an exam, he sounds quite ill with all these symptoms, and he needs to be medically treated ASAP.

For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Peanut evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!

Poor Logan. He sounds really sick and i am really worried he is getting dehydrated. There are so so many things that can causing the decrease drinking and lethargy like an infection, kidney or liver disease, a toxin, or even cancer and much more. Since he has been since for three days, I would strongly recommend to have your vet or a local emergency vet take a look at him. They will be able to run bloodwork and X-rays if needed to help determine why he isn’t feeling well. They will be able to get him on the appropriate meds to help him feel better. They will also be able to determine his hydration and give him fluids if needed. I hope this helps and he starts to feel better really soon.

Poor Rosco sounds very ill at the moment, and unfortunately without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. He could have liver failure, kidney failure, a systemic illness, or even cancer among other causes. The only way to know for certain is to have him seen by a vet, and based on the symptoms you described, he should see a vet immediately. I would consider this an emergency. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. I am sorry that Mia isn’t feeling well. But yes, I agree that you should have her evaluated by a veterinarian. The symptoms you describe concern me about diabetes and kidney disease among other possibilities. I would not wait it out and she could become much more sick if not addressed soon. Cookie sounds very ill at the moment. Her symptoms are non-specific and could be caused by a lot of different things such as GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or a pyometra.
