My dog is lethargic, not eating, crying, hot, and seems to be in pain.

I would be very concerned about Bubbles, and take her into a vet immediately. I see that she isn't spayed, which means she can develop a life threatening infection of the uterus called a pyometra. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, and it causes vomiting, weakness, and lethargy, all signs she is showing. Without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain if she has one or not, but because of the seriousness of a pyometra I would take her into vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. It sounds like BeR is not feeling well. Just like people, there are many conditions that can make pets feel sick. This could range from bacterial over growth to intestinal blockage. Also like us, diseases are best addressed early and this may result in a better prognosis. You need to monitor your pup closely. If he is not eating or drinking well, if there is vomiting/diarrhea/coughing or signs of pain, I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian today. If the lethargy lasts for 24 hours, your pup also needs to be examined. The doctor will need to learn the underlying cause in order to give appropriate treatment. Bring in a stool sample in case the doctor needs to test it. At home, your pup should rest today so no walks or playtime. Encourage eating and drinking. Fluid intake is very important when pets and people don't feel good. You may try offering a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice (this should all be plain). You can add extra water as well to increase the fluids. Hopefully this will pass quickly. I hope BeR starts feeling better quickly! Please feel free to post any additional questions.

Poor girl. Vomiting more than 1-2 times and lethargy are major concerns for an internal illness such as kidney disease, liver disease, pancreatitis or even a viral infection. It is imperative that you take Baby to your local vet for diagnostic testing to determine what her internal illness is so that we know how to best help her. Anything you give her by mouth will likely be vomited back up, so I would not recommend offering her anything but water and getting her to a vet asap. I'm sorry Meatball isn't feeling well at all! It sounds like her stomach is quite upset and painful. The pain in her stomach could be indicated by her constant position changes, whining, and inability to stay in one position for long. These signs could be due to a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or even cancer which unfortunately is always a possibility in a senior dogs. The excessively licking could be due to being nauseous, but it could be due to allergies which would cause the constant scratching as well. I would have Meatball seen by a vet immediately for a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, and x-rays to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated.

It sounds like he needs immediate care if he is not eating, he is lethargic and may have a fever. This sounds like a serious condition that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Lethargy and anorexia (not eating) are very non-specific symptoms of illness meaning almost any sickness can cause these signs. They don't point to a specific problem. I suggest you have him to your vet for an exam and some blood testing to start with so you can find out what the underlying problem is.

I advice that you have Meg evaluated by your veterinarian for a thorough examination and further diagnostics to be followed by therapy if indicated based on findings.
