My 2 year old male labrador retreiver has has some pimple like bumps and scabs. He has been licking and itching like crazy! He has some flaky skin also he has had some digesting issues all his life. I was thinking that he might have an allergy to something like grass because i read that allergeys can cause vometing itching and bumps. But I also read something about Pyoderma a bacteria that can be caused by flea and tick medicines dry food which is what he gets feed. pls help me figure this out!

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach this morning!
I am sorry to hear Toby has been itching frequently.
Ideally, Toby should be seen by his veterinarian so a diagnosis can be made. Your veterinarian will run a few skin tests to determine what the cause is so Toby can be treated effectively. It could be a bacterial infection, sarcoptes mites, ringworm, or a flea allergy.
You can try an oatmeal/aloe shampoo you may purchase at your pet supplies store to help hydrate and soothe the skin.
You may also ask your veterinarian about a product called Revolution that could be prescribed by your vet to help treat sarcoptes mites as well as treat and help prevent fleas.
I hope this helps and best of luck to you and Toby!
