Why is my dog holding his hind leg up after playing, but still runs?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old

He was playing and running and after playing he sit to rest and when he gets up again I saw his right hind leg in the air he is not putting pressure and support on right hind leg but he is okay in running I don't know what it is but in sometimes he throws his legs also like he pushes the leg thrice twice in air then keep it on ground for few minutes only is it hip dysplasia or what I don't know what should I do now please help

Without a full exam and xrays it is impossible to know which joint is affected, hips or knees are both common. Rest and lead exercise is recommended with full assessment if persisting longer than 5days
