luca is scheduled to get 2 baby teeth extracted and a mild teeth cleaning, his blood test revealed a level of 264 Alt enzyme, the Alp was notmal, Ggt was bot available, my question is is it ok considering the high level of Alt liver enzyme to go ahead with anesthesia and extraction and cleaning

Hello. This is not an extremely high value, but it might be prudent to put off the anesthesia for a few weeks & recheck the ALT again. Using a short course of the liver supplement, SAM-e would not hurt. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
