How often should I apply flea treatment for my dog and where?

Summer is round a corner and here in Malta makes lots of hot .... When can i start to put him an anti flee collar and drops?? And how many drops shall i put and where exactly??

I would start Maui on flea treatment now. It should be applied year round, and I recommend using a spot on treatment such as Advantage or Revolution. I do not recommend using a flea collar as they are not very effective and can cause adverse skin reactions. If you want to give Maui an oral flea tablet instead of a spot on treatment, you can give him NexGard or Comfortis. In terms of a spot on treatment, buy the package that contains the dose for his weight, and put one full tube on his skin between his shoulder blades. There will be instructions with the flea treatment on how to give it to him correctly.
