Why is my dog having fishy breath, odd sneezes, and breathing issues?

AS long as he is eating normally, I don't think you need to be too concerned. Has he been licking at his back end? Anal glands can smell "fishy," so that may be the issue. Yuck! :/ Its not urgent if he is otherwise normal, but get him in to your vet when you can so they can do an exam and make sure nothing is wrong. Bad breath is usually due to teeth and gum disease. If Precious has not had dental treatment before, then this is definitely a possibly. This often happens with breeds of dogs that have short/smashed-appearing muzzles. It can happen due to various structural deformities such as small nostril size, or an elongated soft palate. If this is something that suddenly started, then I would be more worried about laryngeal paralysis, or a polyp causing her to have obstructed breathing. Given the multiple possibilities and the likely need for treatment, I recommend you have Precious examined by a veterinarian. They can quickly narrow-down the cause of the bad breath and snoring. Tita most likely either has severe periodontal disease or uremic breathe due to an underlying kidney problem (less likely). Have her evealuated by your vet and highly consider getting her teeth cleaned. If she does have a foul odor then periodontal disease is very possible and she may even require some teeth extractions to get her back on track to having a healthy mouth. Oral hygiene affects the health of so many other organs, so it's important to get this treated quickly. Once she does get her teeth cleaned and obtains a healthy oral cavity, brushing her teeth daily can help her maintain this level of care and prevent severe dental disease in the future. If you are smelling a bad odor coming from Prince's mouth, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine his mouth to determine if he has severe dental disease or not. He will likely need a dental cleaning and a course of antibiotics if he is dealing with severe dental disease, which is typical in small breed dogs. Some things you can do after you have his teeth cleaned would include Oravet chews, Plaque off and CET oral rinse. I hope this helps! It could be that Luna is suffering from a respiratory infection. If her symptoms continue over the next 24-48 hours, then I would have her seen by a vet. The vet can diagnose if she does have a respiratory infection, and can prescribe medications to help treat her symptoms.
