What's the right fish oil dose for my 10lb dog's itchy skin?

I am giving my dog fish oil for itchy skin. She is a 10 lb chihuahua/jack russell mix. How much should i give her, please?

She requires about 450mg of fish oil per day for this condition. Keep in mind that these supplements are only used as an adjunct with other medications for treating skin problems. It will not be expected to completely solve the problem.

    To be honest the efficacy of these remedies depends on the underlying cause of it.
    Fleas (ruled out), allergies and bacterial or mite infestations are among the most common causes of it. Unfortunately these are all treatable through medications (not natural but synthetic molecules).
    A good supplement with essential fatty acids is Coatex, fish oil is good as well but needs to be dosed quite accurately.
