My dog's shaking head, pink ear. Is it an ear infection? Can I wait?

Pet's info: Dog | Wire Fox Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 50 lbs

my dog is shaking and tilting his head from side to side as if he has something in his ear. Its only in one ear but his skin is also very pink does he have an infection. its a bank holiday can I leave it till tuesday without visiting the vet?

He may have an infection, inflammation, mites or something stuck in his ear. A gentle cleanser from the pet store can be applied to see if this will flush the ear and provide some temporary relief - alcohol free cleanser is recommended if the ear is very sensitive
