Yes, dogs are very sensitive to caffeine, so it can have toxic effects. However, this would likely not be enough to cause signs of toxicity. Below is a link to an article that explains the signs of caffeine toxicity. If you happen to notice him get hyper-excited, or start to have tremors, then it's best to take him to the vet as soon as possible.
