Why does my dog dig around her bed area, especially on a tiled floor?

If your dog is whining or "digging" at bedding, it may be that she is attempting to nest with her favorite toys. Digging in bed is a natural instinct and not a sign of misbehavior. In the wild, dogs have the instinct to hide in comfortable, protected areas when they sleep. You could try to redirect the behavior when you see her digging in her bed or try to find an indestructible dog bed that she can't put holes in it when she digs. For dogs or their wild canine ancestors that lived outside they would scratch an dog to make a comfortable bed to lie in. Bonnie Blue Bell sounds like mischievous one! I couldn't say for sure why she is doing this honestly. If she is only doing this when they are vibrating or ringing, my suspicion would be that the noise or sound is interesting (or bothersome to her) in some fashion. As long as she isn't trying to chew or eat the objects, I don't think you need to be terribly worried about this other than that it might be sort of annoying. The best thing you can do is keep your electronics a little closer to you to prevent this type of behavior from occurring. Hopefully in time, she will stop doing this type of thing on her own.

This is a fairly common behavior that pet owner witness with their dogs.
