My pup died a week ago tomorrow. Is it possible for him to have had a heat stroke? He was left out for a very long time the Friday before cause we had a flea treatment being done an we couldn't be in the house for several hours. It was 4 days after that he had started throwing up an then he started pooping blood an was gone within 3 days

Heat stroke can certainly manifest itself a day or so after the event, as it takes a while for the clotting cascade to become comprised and spontaneous bleeding to occur. Of course other problems cause intestinal bleeding as well. HGE, intestinal parasites, tumors, toxin ingestion, and Addison's disease are just a few that come to mind. I'm so sorry you lost Bandit- he is adorable in his picture. Take care and thank you for using Pet Coach.
