My dog delivered one dead puppy, now stuck in labor. What to do?

If it's been six hours since the last puppy was born and you believe Ahavala still has at least one more pup inside her, this is an emergency - she needs to be seen at an emergency clinic tonight for further evaluation (a physical exam, and likely x-rays and/or ultrasound) to determine if there is in fact another pup present. If so, she will almost certainly need an emergency c-section to remove it. here should generally be no more than two hours at most between puppies once a mother dog has started delivering, so a delay of this long is not normal and requires veterinary intervention.

If there are more puppies and no progression of labor at this point then she needs to be seen by a vet. They have medication to give her to stimulate further contractions to continue the process. They can also X-ray her to see how many are there or do a c section if needed Since she didn’t take care of the precious puppies it is best to not let her have any puppies and bottle raise them yourself then get her spayed

I am very worried about Bebe. If she hasn't had any puppies for 6 hours, but still has puppies inside, I would definitely recommend to take her to a veterinarian. Sometimes a puppy can be stuck in the birth canal or the mom gets so tired from pushing that her uterus is no longer able to contract to push the puppies out. Both of these situations are dangerous for the puppies and Bebe. The veterinarian will examine her to see if there is a puppy stuck in the birth canal and will most likely recommend taking and x-ray to see how many puppies she still has inside. Depending on what they find, they may recommend doing a c-section. In most cases, this is the only way to try and save the mother and the puppies. I am so sorry. I know this is a very scary situation.

I would recommend getting her to a vet as soon as possible. If she delivered puppies dead on friday morning and now it is saturday evening this is to long. I would recommend getting her to a vet now for an x-ray to count the number of puppies still remaining. An ultrasound to make sure they are still alive and not in stress and even bloodwork to make sure she does not need calcium supplementation to help with pushing. It is possible that there is a retained puppy or placenta. A uterine infection is also possible. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. I recommend a vet visit to make sure that she doesn't have any retained placentas or another dead pup inside. Both these conditions can set her up for life-threatening infection. If she is eating and drinking normally, and does not have a high temperature, she is likely ok.
