Why is my dog walking weirdly with a crooked back and weak hind legs?

This is most suggestive of lower spine injury. This is not uncommon in older dogs, where the vertebral canal, or intervertebral disks can pinch the nerve. Treatment is possible depending on the cause of this, so I recommend taking Bandit to the vet for an evaluation. They should be able to identify the cause of this and at-least get him started on medication to relieve pain and hopefully the mobility and incontinence issues. Pozzy may be having trouble with his back. Intervertebral disc disease may look like this. I would advise to get some radiographs done to see how the vertebra looks. If there is no obvious cause, a consult with a neurologist may be indicated. There may also be physical therapy exercises that may help as well. He would be young but degenerative myelopathy could also be a factor. The doctor should be able to get a better idea based on a physical exam.

The pictures look like Potti has some muscle loss of the hind legs. If he cannot walk he really needs to see a vet as soon as possible. Infectious disease, trauma, parasites and neurologic disease can cause the inability to use your legs. I would recommend referral to an orthopedic or neurology specialist in order to correctly determine the underlying cause and to establish a management program going forward to maintain her mobility in the future; the longer this goes untreated the greater chance of permanent changes that may not respond to treatment. Weight management, antiinflammatory medications and diets specifically formulated for joint health and mobility (royal canin mobility / hills joint care) are recommended and acupuncture or chiropractic care may also help with the symptoms

This sounds like a medical emergency and you should have Puddin seen right away. The potential cause for her signs are a slipped disc in her back causing pinching of her nerves going to her back legs (Intervertebral disc disease), trauma, spinal infection, a spinal tumor or a toxin. The veterinarian will want to perform a through exam and localize the pain. They will also check Puddin's neurologic function which will help to determine if her signs are due to a spinal problem.
