My dog cries when eating, won't drink, and hasn't pooped in days.

If Coco is nauseated from something, it is difficult to say for sure the cause just based on the symptoms. Coco may have a systemic disease or infection going on that needs antibiotic therapy. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Coco so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I advice that you have Meg evaluated by your veterinarian for a thorough examination and further diagnostics to be followed by therapy if indicated based on findings. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Rosie. See if she will allow you to look in her mouth. You even use something soft like a Q-tip to lift her lip. I am concerned that she has a painful mouth if she will only eat the soft food. Dental disease is very common in her breed. Ear infections do not typically affect a dog's appetite. Has she had any vomiting or diarrhea? This will make a dog not want to eat. Another condition common in small breed dogs is neck pain. This could explain her screaming as well. She will need to see a veterinarian when you are able. In the meantime, offer soft food. You can add warm water to soften it further. I hope this information helps!

It does sound from your description like something is bothering Casper's throat, but the only way to know what's wrong and make sure we're giving Casper the help he needs is to have a vet take a look. If there's an infection, he'll need antibiotics. If there's an injury or some other issue, it needs to be identified before he can be helped. So, I recommend you make an appointment for Casper to be examined by a vet as soon as possible. In the meantime, if mashed up puppy food is what he'll eat, then keep offering that to him several times a day. You can add some water to make it a slurry, both to make it easier for him to eat, and to help supplement with fluids so he doesn't get dehydrated. Hope this helps and he feels better soon!

Issues with the teeth, gums, or mouth can cause pain while eating. Of course there are other medical conditions that can cause decreased or lack of appetite that will need to be ruled out with her veterinarian. You can try softening the food down with water and heating it up a bit to bring out the flavor and entice her to eat. If she still doesn't want to eat, then please take her in to see her vet as soon as you can.
