I just got my dog from boarding school and he developed a cough there. He went from a cough to hacking, and now he can't walk more than a few feet without stopping, he's shivering, and he's very tired and slow. Still drinks water and eats but only small amounts.

It could be a cause for concern. If they fed him different food while he was boarding, he could be getting an upset stomach from the diet change. He also could have contracted something contagious while boarding or could have eaten something he shouldn't have. If he vomits again, I would recommend an exam by a vet. They may need to take x-rays to rule out an obstruction or at least get him some medications to make him feel better. Good luck and kisses to your fur baby!
