Is it safe to give my dog Bravecto and Panacur at the same time?

Hello. I would err on the side of safety & separate these products by two weeks. Some dogs have a gene mutation called MDR1 that can cause a problem if more than 1 medication is administered too close together. Hello. For the most part, this should be safe. I have seen cautions about waiting 24 hours to 1 week, but the longer wait may be to separate possible individual side effects, such as vomiting. I think, just to be absolutely sure, waiting another day or so before using the Bravecto would be prudent. It is safe to use both bravecto and trifexis together. I would continue giving the Trifexis as you have been and also their bravecto as instructed. This will ensure you've got heartworm coverage along with flea and tick protection. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Hello. There is no need to separate these two products. There are some heartworm products that should not be given within 2 weeks of some of tick & flea products such as Bravecto & Nexgard, but administering a dewormer will not cause a problem with your flea product. Yes, they do cover the same things, the only difference is a nexgardnwill last for 1 month and a bravecto will last for 3 months. They have different ingredients and a wide safety margin so you will unlikely notice any changes.

Yes, you can give bravecto. However, in addition to giving this medication, you will likely need to treat your environment for fleas as well. This can be achieved by spraying your yard and house with a flea insecticide and washing her bedding and clothing at least 2-3 times weekly. Hope this helps and best of luck.
