Why did my dog die with blue tongue, vomit, and bleeding from anus?

I am so very sorry that you lost your dog. The only way to find out why your dog died would be to send him in for a post mortem. If you would like to do this you have to put him in a cold place, preferably either under ice, or in a fridge (not freezer) and then take him to your vet to be sent to a pathology laboratory or you can take him to a pathology lab yourself tomorrow. Hello. I am so sorry for your loss. It would be impossible for me to diagnose exactly what took Qra's life, but all the symptoms describe a gastrointestinal problem. This could include anything from a severe parasite problem to a twist or intussusception, blockage, or even a cancer like lymphoma. Hello, sorry to hear about Rocky. He could have a local infection or mass on his tongue that is painful. The discomfort is likely not allowing him to eat regularly. If this continues, or if the area gets larger, then he should be evaluated by his veterinarian as he may need antibiotics or surgery to treat the area in his tongue. I am so sorry about Elsa. If Elsa was a puppy and just had on vaccine she was not fully protected. I would be concerned about Parvovirus at that point. Other then that it could be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis or even a foreign boy obstruction. It could also had been a type of cancer. Without more information it is hard to say definitively what caused this without more information. Oh my, that is so horrible for you, I am so sorry for your loss! It could be that she got into something toxic causing her symptoms or she could have had an abdominal tumor that suddenly ruptured. Without seeing her in person, I unfortunately can't say for certain. If you would like an answer, you can take her into a vet for a necropsy (an autopsy for dogs). Charlie was such a handsome boy, and I'm so very sorry for your sudden loss! How horrible for you :-( It could be that he ate something toxic, he could have had a GI tumor that suddenly ruptured, or he could have developed bloat and subsequent a GDV causing him to die suddenly and have blood come from his rectum. If he didn't have any vomiting or diarrhea, I wouldn't suspect HGE, but without seeing him in person I can't say for certain unfortunately. The pale gums are a concerning sign, as they are caused by anemia and internal bleeding. It could be that he got into something toxic causing the pale gums, and then leading him to pass away. He also could have had a tumor that ruptured, or cancer that had spread. If you'd like answers, I'd recommend taking him into the vet for a necropsy (an autopsy for dogs).
