hi, my dog is a miniature schnauzer. he is 3 years old. for the past 3 days my dog has had diarrhea with a little bit of blood. for the first two days she was vomiting but it went away, and he is eating a bland diet of rice and is drinking plenty of water. he is acting very normal, but i do notice that he feels like is anus is irritated. his diarrhea sometimes stops and he does regular feces, but there is always fresh drips of blood after. what can i do until i take him to the vet. please help.

Dogs with blood in the stool need to be examined by the veterinarian because this can indicate more serious disease. Here is a link about diarrhea:

I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian today. Sometimes fasting and a bland diet can help but it's best to play it safe.
I hope Sirius feels better quickly.
