When should my dog get blood work? Is milk thistle safe for his liver?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 7 months old

Till now I have not had any blood routine test on bruno like Liver function and kidney function or Complete blood count so when should I go for these and if I gave him MILK THISTLE tablet and even if his liver is ok will that then can cause any affect to liver ?

You can get general blood work done at his next wellness visit - it's a good idea to do this yearly if possible, to get a good normal baseline established and help spot any problems early on. If his liver is normal, there is likely no benefit to giving milk thistle - but it won't hurt anything if you do decide to give it.
