My 11-year-old Cockapoo bleeds after urinating. What's wrong?

Reasons for blood in the stool include colitis, intestinal parasites and dietary indiscretion and some possible reasons of blood in the urine include urinary tract infections, urinary stones and even tumors. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly. If she passed blood in her urine then that would be concerning for things that can affect the urinary tract such as a urinary tract infection, urine stones or even a tumor. Further diagnostics would include a urine culture and abdominal imaging. I recommend that you have Bell evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Poor Moca! I'm sorry to hear she's having these issues! Bloody urine can indicate an infection, bladder stones, inflammation in the bladder or vagina, and unfortunately sometimes even cancer. Her skin sounds very uncomfortable and could be related to allergy, infection, yeast overgrowth, or a number of other issues. I'd recommend taking Moca to see a veterinarian as soon as possible. Her conditions sound quite painful and it is likely she will need some testing and medication to treat. Without an examination it is impossible to say what the underlying issues are so an examination with a veterinarian will be needed to figure out a treatment plan for her. Urinating blood can indicating a bladder infection or something potentially life threatening like a clotting disorder. The fact that he is also committing indicates systemic illness. The veterinarian will perform a physical exam and then recommend diagnostics such as urinalysis bloodwork or possibly radiographs (xrays). Good luck and I hope he’s better soon.

I am afraid there are no homeopathic remedies for a UTI with frank blood in the urine. As a matter of fact, she could have a serious kidney infection, polyps or a bladder tumor as well. Before treatment comes diagnosis and you really need to take her to your veterinarian for an exam, urinalysis and diagnosis. Depending on the diagnosis your veterinarian will treat her with the appropriate medications.

With the symptoms you are describing, I would suspect a urinary tract infection or something causing irritation in the urinary tract such as bladder stones or crystals. I would have her seen by a vet today for this issue. The vet can diagnose what is causing it and can treat her. I hope this helps!
