Hello. This is a normal discharge called lochia. It is the remains of the uterine lining being expelled & this may continue for up to 12 weeks after a bitch gives birth. If you are saying she is hot then she may have a fever. If you don't want to take her to a vet that is up to you. I can't tell you anymore than this without examining the dog myself. Feeding milk to a nursing dog is not recommended. Dogs at her age do not need milk and it is not going to do anything to boost the milk she gives the puppies. If she is eating a good dog food you don't need to give anything else.

Black discharge is never normal and i recommend an urgent vet check to rule out ant infection. It is likely she will miscarry the litter and may need intensive antibiotics and hormonal treatment and may even require surgery

I am assuming this is a vaginal discharge you are describing and not that the milk appears black. Nicole could be experiencing false pregnancy with uterine infection or be truly pregnant and having labor complications. Because of the latter possibility she needs to see a veterinarian soon because if there is a puppy stuck in the birth canal it can cause serious and fatal complications such as infection, hemorrhage and uterine tears.
