Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 5 years and 1 month old | 30 lbs
My beagle cornered a rat in the yard, she had it in her mouth, it got away, when I got her inside she's bleeding from the mouth, I don't know if it's because she bit the rat or the rat bit her. I looked in her mouth and can't see a puncture. I'm scared she'll get sick or poisoned by this nasty thing, should I take her to an emergency vet?

If she hasn't ingested the rat she cannot get poisoned from it, as long as she is vaccinated you d not have to worry about her getting any serious infection from the rat. Keep an eye on the bleeding and make sure it has stopped.
