Why does my dog have bumps on his belly? Allergies or heat rash?

This is probably due to an allergy, although it could also be infection or mites. Hi. It looks like Jack has a bit of pyoderma or skin infection on his belly. It may be a hypersensitivity reaction to insect bites or contact allergy or he may have a mild bacterial infection. Dogs that swim a lot in ponds or creeks may get this. If this is his only sign and he is not painful or itchy then bathing with a mild antibacterial shampoo may clear it up. If it's bothering him or seems to spread or get worse I recommend taking him into the vet.

This looks like an allergic reaction to something or general allergies. Make sure he is on a good veterinary prescribed flea control. You can try to shampoo him in a chlorhexidine shampoo to help heal the red bumps. You can also Give him 75 mg (3 adult) Benadryl to help with any itching. Bee’s skin lesions could be due to many things including the heat, allergies or a bacterial infection. You can wash the areas daily and rinse them well. You must make sure he does not lick the areas as this will make it worse (an elizabethan collar can prevent this). An omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs can help as well. It looks like Frida has a bacterial skin infection which could be secondary to allergies. You could bathe her with a medicated dog shampoo, like Epi-Soothe, and see if that helps. Otherwise, she should be examined by your vet for treatment. She might need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, and/or a corticosteroid to help treat. Hope she gets better soon!
