My dog ate spicy chicken wings. What to do for an upset stomach?

I wouldn't be surprised that this spicy chicken is the cause of the stomach rumbling. Dogs don't handle spice well, and it could be Zelda now has some stomach upset. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps her. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If she refuses to eat the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I would watch for vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy and inappetence. If any of these occur I recommend taking Indie to a veterinarian. She could develop pancreatitis from this or just a bad gastrointestinal upset. If she ate any of the bone from the wings they typically dissolve in the stomach but sometimes can cause more harm. I have no idea what over the counter medications you have available to you in Germany that you could possibly give her. I suggest you just leave her be and call your vet for a recommendation when they are open. Do not give her anything to eat for 6-8 hours but access to water is fine. Her stomach and GI tract need a bit of time to rest.

I highly recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Poor guy. IF he had black diarrhea then that indicates he could have blood in his stool. I think its best at this point to take him to your vet for prescription medications to help him recover. He needs a short course of antibiotics, a probiotic, and a bland diet to help him make a full recovery. I would stop the Pepto BIsmol immediately due to the bloody stool. You can go ahead and start feeding the bland diet of boiled plain chicken or lean ground turkey and rice for now until you can get him seen. I hope that your pet Kuu gets well soon!
