My dog ate spa alkalinity adjuster. What should I do now?

Hello. I’m so sorry to hear this! You need to get Kota to a veterinary emergency room ASAP. The ingestion of this quantity of bleach could be fatal. He will need supportive care to see him through this intoxication. Whatever you do, don’t make him throw up because bleach is caustic and can cause more trouble coming back up. If you believe that Kiki may have been poisoned by something, I highly recommend calling a Pet Poison hotline such as (855) 764- 7661. This way you can report exactly what you think your pet got into, how much, how heavy your dog is, etc., and determine what the consequences of this are. I hope this is helpful!

Please contact ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Phone Number: (888) 426-4435 ASAP. There is a fee for this service, but they can help determine approriate treatment. If you need to take Branch to an emergency vet Poison control will help the veterinarians there formulate a treatment. Hi. I would definitely call the pet poison holine to do a consultation about this ingredient they can then let you know if he needs to be seen and what will need to be done. I would contact them asap. Google pet poison hotline. Have your ingredients/bag with you.

I would recommend taking Bailey to your local veterinary ER. These types of products can be quite irritating to the gastrointestinal tract and also have the potential to be toxic in other ways. The vet will do a thorough physical exam and look for any obvious symptoms. They may also recommend you contact the pet poison hotline to gather more information regarding treatment depending on the severity of the symptoms. At the least you can expect to be prescribed some medications to help protect Bailey’s stomach and intestines from the irritants in this product. She may need IV fluids and intensive hospital management if she develops significant gastrointestinal symptoms. Good luck, I hope Bailey comes through this ok.
