My dog ate spa alkalinity adjuster. What should I do now?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 months and 13 days old

Kota got in to the alkalinity spa adjuster tonight. Anything I can do other than lots of water? Not sure how much she had, was carrying bag and it was punctured.

I would call the ASPCA Pet Poison control hotline at (888) 426-4435 with her weight and the name of the alkalinity spa adjuster, along with the ingredients of the product. They can advise you further as to what to do with Kota. There is a fee for this service, but I highly recommend doing it to make sure this won't have serious effects on her. You can also call your vet with this information for further advice. Without having her weight, the product name, and the product's ingredients, I can't say for certain if she will be ok or if there will be any toxic side effects.
