My dog ate a sock recently. Will he pass it or is it an emergency?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

So Cooper just ate a ankle sock within the last forty mins. Is this something that he will be able to pass

Cooper needs to be seen by a vet/emergency room right away where they can make him regurgitate the sock with an apomorphine injection. Please take him now. If you hope it may pass, he may end up with a life threatening obstructed bowel and expensive surgery.
