My dog ate Ferraro Roches. Should I worry about chocolate toxicity?

There really is not a toxic amount of milk chocolate in two Ferrero Rochers to cause a problem in your 6.3lbs dog. 2 Balls weigh approximately 26g (less than an ounce) and the major ingredient is fat. So there is not enough chocolate content to be dangerous for Junior.

I'd just monitor Layla for now. There isn't a lot of chocolate in Ferrero Roche and the amount she ate should not cause any problems. There is not much chocolate in these bars and the good thing is that it is milk chocolate (much less toxic than dark chocolate). Even if each of the bars was solid milk chocolate, he would not get enough for a toxic dose, so Apollo should be fine. If you happen to see him vomiting, then I would be concerned that he ate more than the reported amount, because this would be the first sign of toxicity. I can give you a home remedy for him to see if that helps. Withhold food tonight, then in the morning feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. There is not enough chocolate in 4 mint aero balls to cause toxicity in your 20 lbs dog. I would not worry, however should Hugo develop agitation, tremors, appear ill, he needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away.

Both candies contain chocolate, but not that much and Jim is a big dog so I am not expecting Chocolate toxicity in his case but it could cause vomiting, diarrhea and constipation, you will need to keep an eye on his stools in the next few days.
