My pit bull ate dabs and is vomiting, disoriented. Is it an emergency?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 14 days old | 35 lbs

My 10 month old pit bull ate 1/2 g of dabs about 4 days ago. Vometed green sticky stuff up until the last vomit. It was funnier and brown. But hardened on floor. She'll drink water but no food and hasnt pooped. Inside of ears are reddish. She feels hot on head. Seems disoriented but realizes I'm petting and talking to her.

This sounds like an emergency, and could indicate potential toxicity. Please have Meatloaf seen by a veterinarian right away, and let them know what happened, as she may have ingested enough to be fatal. Contact the pet poison helpline at the link below for more information:

Meatloaf may also be a dealing with an infection, systemic disease, or trauma leading to her symptoms, but she needs to be examined by a vet to help figure out what the cause is. They may recommend blood and urine testing to help determine the cause of her symptoms.
