My dog ate chicken feathers, now one is sticking out. Is it safe?

Hello again. As I said earlier, the bone was digested/dissolved. A single piece of cooked bone would have no problems being digested & passing normally through the GI tract. If he has been symptom free for a day, he will continue to be symptom free. If you like, you can continue the pumpkin for another day, but this is not absolutely necessary. He will be fine. It is still possible it is in her but it is not causing a blockage. If she is acting normally, eating, not vomiting, etc. I would not be overly worried at this time. Just keep monitoring her. Best wishes!

At this point if leia is acting normal I would not be concerned. The bird will get digested in the stomach and small intestine and it is possible you will never see any of the material pass. I would only get concerned if Leia starts having diarrhea and vomiting. If this occurs a vet visit is best for an x-ray to look for a blockage. hope that helps

Keep a close eye on him. He may cough it back up like a hairball but luckily cats systems are not strangers to feathers as cats often prey on birds. Feathers are usually flexible enough that if they don't cough them up, they will pass on their own, and are digestible at least to some degree. If he shows any signs of illness though, off to the vet.

Oh no, that's not good! More than likely, this one thread will pass without problem especially if it isn't very long. The worst case scenario would be it could cause a linear foreign body, signs of which include a decreased appetite, anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. Keep an eye on her to be safe, and if you do see any of those signs, take her into a vet right away. Hopefully, however, she will be just fine. Best of luck!

Hello. Asta should be just fine, although she might throw the bird up. There is a chance of stomach upset if the bird was already dead, so if anytime in the next few days Asta starts vomiting, develops diarrhea, stops eating or just seem to feel unwell, please contact your veterinarian for recommended treatment.
