My puppy ate cat litter, stomach swollen. Is she okay after peroxide?

Sometimes gastritis can resolve on its own after a couple of days but sometimes dogs need medication to help keep them comfortable while they are going through it. While Lexi is recovering from this, feed her small meals more frequently of an easily digestible diet such as plain boiled chicken and rice. There is a small chance that the book cover has caused a blockage, either in the stomach or intestines. I would recommend keeping a very close eye on Lexi over the next 24 hours.
