My dog ate a whole loaf of banana bread last night. Today he is drooling a lot. I gave him a little pumpkin. Is anything else I should do or watch for?

Poor guy. He likely has a bit of an upset stomach. I am not sure what ingredients were in the banana bread, but there likely wasn't enough to cause any toxicity concerns. The drooling is a sign of nausea, poor guy.
Try feeding him a bland diet today and tomorrow of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. Then continue to monitor him for any vomiting or refusal to eat his food or diarrhea. If he doesn't seem better by tomorrow, then it is a good idea to have him seen by your vet for anti-nausea medication and supportive care, but he likely will improve by tomorrow.
Best of luck with your furry friend Avalanche and I hope he feels better soon! Take care!
